The story of ADAX

Eugen Silfen, the founder of ADAX, designs the vast majority of the company’s products.

“I’m driven by the need to convert ideas into something concrete – to see ideas take shape and make all the details work. I’m prossesed by the dream of developing new things. As soon as I have created one bag, I start dreaming about the next one. Our mission is innovation – without compromising on quality or good craftmanship.

I can still remember the first bag i designed. Actually my aim is the same today as it was 25 years ago: Beauty and functionality.

I’m a spontaneous sort of person and i like things to be happening around me. I want innovation and new creations. I like to get on. I’m constantly drawing on my experiences to create something new. Good designers pick up on something that’s already in the air. They get as close to the demand as possible and give it a personal twist. You can’t force products on people."
